Almost didn’t make it this week! Sorry not much to say again. I’m at my friend Heather’s house in Corona, CA. We’ve been friends since the 1st grade! I’ll try to come up with something really good next week.

This is my first entry in my Silent Diary. I am using this podcast as a medium to practice my skills in American Sign Language. If you know sign language, then you can probably tell by this first video that I am going to need quite a bit of practice.
I have taken one year of sign language in high school and have had 4 years of experience working and communicating with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. I hope to pursue an AA and certificate in Sign Language Interpreting by 2008 and continue to work with the Deaf.
